Desde horas de la mañana, el cielo estará soleado, mientras que por la tarde sólo se esperan nublados aislados con chubascos pasajeros en El Seibo, Hato Mayor, La Romana, San Pedro de Macorís, Monte Plata y la Cordillera Central.

El organismo exhortó a la población a evitar exponerse al sol directamente en los horarios 11:00 de la mañana a 4:00 de la tarde sin protección, así como tomar suficientes líquidos y vestir ropa ligera de colores claros.
Este martes se esperan una temperatura mínima de entre 24 °C y 26 °C y la máxima entre 32 °C y 34 °C.
Para el miércoles continuará el calor, con escasas precipitaciones a nivel nacional.
