Otras áreas de interés especial incluyen acuarios con tortugas marinas, rayas y manatíes. Mote Marine también ofrece cinco experiencias de realidad virtual incluyendo nadar con ballenas.

Los amantes de los jardines están de plácemes en Selby Botanical Gardens. Contando con 45 acres de jardines en dos localidades en Sarasota, Selby Botanical Gardens es un oasis en la ciudad para los aficionados de las plantas y árboles. Su bello plumaje y largos cuellos son extremadamente fotogénicos y nadie se va de esta experiencia sin sonreír múltiples veces. “Se pululan a tu alrededor –es salvaje!” dijo Joe Granata, un visitante de Orlando. También se ofrece la oportunidad de pasar un rato, acariciar y sacar fotos con reptiles o aves (boletos adicionales)

A la hora de hacer las compras, St. Armands Circle, es uno de los distritos comerciales más populares de Sarasota. Cuenta con 130 tiendas y boutiques al igual que galerías de arte, y restaurantes y el “Círcle Ring of Fame” que rinde tributo a grandes actos del circo.
